Kyrgyzstanis sentenced to 13 -15 years in prison for terrorism support in Russia

The North Caucasian District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don (Russia) convicted residents of Kyrgyzstan Akramzhon Abdullaev and Nematzhon Isroilov. They were accused of involving people in the activities of a terrorist organization. Interfax reported.

Akramzhon Abdullaev was sentenced to 15 years to be served in a high security colony, Nematzhon Isroilov — 13 years in a high security colony.

They were found guilty of support for terrorist activities and creation of a terrorist organization.

According to the investigation, since January 2015, citizens of Kyrgyzstan, being active members of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, had been spreading the ideology of this organization in Sevastopol city. They studied in detail the ideological materials of the group for agitation and inducing people to participate in its illegal activities.
