Former SRS head - one of the winners of Eurasian Digital Platforms contest

Former head of the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan, Dastan Dogoev, became one of the winners of the international competition of innovative projects Eurasian Digital Platforms. The Eurasian Economic Commission reported.

Results of the competition were summed up the day before at the Eurasian Week Forum. The competition was held to find and support new digital initiatives and projects that could contribute to the development of an integrated information system of the Eurasian Economic Union, taking into account the implementation of the main directions of the digital agenda of the Union.

Over 300 projects participated in the competition. Only 20 reached the final. As a result, the jury selected winners in four nominations, one more project received an audience choice prize.

«In 2019, we want to turn our competition into a permanent international platform for the examination and exchange of experience in the field of digital transformation of the economies of EEU countries. Such an approach will significantly speed up the implementation of the digital agenda and form a Eurasian ecosystem in most sectors of the economy,» Karine Minasyan, a Member of the Board (Minister) for the Domestic Markets, Information, Information and Communication Technologies of the EEC, said.

The project Platform 8 from Kyrgyzstan took the 1st place in the category EEC Choice, the author of which is Dastan Dogoev. Platform 8 is a unified digital platform for the exchange of skills in the business environment, migration and social services.

The project is designed to solve the problem of the backlog of professional qualifications of civil servants, businesses and other citizens of the EEU states from current digital trends. At least $ 3.5 million is provided to increase the capacity of civil servants, businesses and citizens of Kyrgyzstan in 2018.

Platform 8 project provides an opportunity to communicate with experts on business issues, helps to obtain information on migration conditions of stay and social services in the EEU countries.

«The number of users of the platform in Kyrgyzstan alone is 234,000 people. Within the project, it is planned to cover about 10 percent of citizens of EEU countries over the next two years,» the message says.
