An investor was found for Rosinbank. The head of the National Bank, Tolkunbek Abdygulov, said this at a meeting of the Parliament today.
According to him, the National Bank is constantly studying liquidity issue.
«When banks get a loan, they leave a pledge. Rosinbank could not repay the loan amount, therefore the assets were transferred to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. This is a unique case,» explained Tolkunbek Abdygulov.
He added that the situation at Rosinbank was positive, there were potential investors.
«The State Service for Combating Economic Crimes opened a criminal case. There are tax claims, first of all they need to be resolved,» said Tolkunbek Abdygulov.
Earlier, the National Bank acquired 5,604,844 ordinary registered shares of the Russian Investment Bank OJSC. In total, this amounts to 71.65 percent of the authorized capital of the bank.
