«Gazprom, which provides Kyrgyzstan with fuel and lubricants, natural gas, has invested more than 30 billion soms in the country since the beginning of its activities in the republic, has paid taxes of more than 42 billion soms. About 10,000 Kyrgyz citizens work in various structures of the company. Gazprom has built a sports complex in almost every region. A modern school is being built in Bishkek with all the conditions for 960 students,» the president told.
In addition, Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted the large-scale work of the Russian company in implementing the master plan for supply of Kyrgyzstan with gas until 2030. The company plans to supply 60 percent of the territory of Kyrgyzstan with gas, providing blue fuel to over 400 settlements of the republic.
