About 70,000 Kyrgyzstanis blacklisted in Russia

About 70,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in the black list of Russia, they are prohibited from entering the territory of the Russian Federation. The Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Imangaziev told.

According to him, over 630,000 Kyrgyzstanis live in Russia now. More than 200,000 of our citizens are at risk, they may be blacklisted in the near future. About 50,000 Kyrgyz were expelled from Russia or were blacklisted by the court. «These people will not be able to take migration amnesty,» said Almaz Imangaziev.

Russia reportedly announced a migration amnesty for citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Many of them, taking advantage of it, will be able to «reset» their migration history and bypass the blacklist.
