Jerooy deposit is expected to be commissioned in the first half of 2019. The Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of Kyrgyzstan Suyuntbek Alikeyev told today at a press conference.
According to him, a gold extraction plant and a tailing dump are being actively constructed at the field.
The committee has confirmed that the license for development of the field acted as a pledge to receive a loan from a bank.
«This is done to attract investments. There are no obstacles to such actions in our legislation. The deposit itself is not subject to pledge. Alliance Altyn puts in pledge only the license for development at the Russian VTB Bank for a loan,» said Suyuntbek Alikeyev.
He said that the Alliance Altyn company challenged in court a penalty imposed by the committee of $ 600,000. It was imposed for a five-month delay in the construction of infrastructure at the field.
