The Bishkek City Court upheld the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court to extend the preventive measure to the former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov.
Earlier, the first instance court granted the request of the investigators to extend the term of detention of Sapar Isakov until December 5.
During the trial, the lawyers of the defendant asked to cancel the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court. The defense considers that the decision to extend the preventive measure is unreasonable and unlawful.
The Former Prime Minister Sapar Isakov was arrested on corruption charges within the modernization of Bishkek Heating and Power Plant case.
