Heating season in Bishkek will begin tomorrow, on October 18. The corresponding order was signed by the mayor of the capital Aziz Surakmatov.
Officials of Bishkek HPP said earlier they were ready to start the heating period within three days in case of a sharp change in weather conditions. According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorology Agency, the average monthly air temperature in October will range from +5 to +14 degrees Celsius in the republic. During the month, air temperature can drop to −1 degrees, frosts are possible in the foothill areas.
Heating season in Bishkek usually begins at an average daily temperature below +8 degrees for five days.
