Kyrgyzstan's state debt reduces. Each resident owes $ 697.6

As a result of January-August 2018, the state debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $ 697.6 per each citizen of the country. Over a month, the debt burden decreased by $ 8.1.

According to the Ministry of Finance, as of August 31, 2018, the total volume of the state debt amounted to $4,395.02 billion (303,361.23 billion soms), including $ 3,797.38 billion (262,110.05 billion soms) — external, and $ 597.64 million (41,251.19 billion soms) — internal debt.

For the month, the state debt of Kyrgyzstan decreased by $ 20.24 million. Most of all, Kyrgyzstan owes the Export-Import Bank of China — $ 1,700.51 billion. For the month, the indicator remained unchanged.

In August, the national debt of the country amounted to 56.4 percent of GDP.

As of August 1, 2018, at least 6.3 million people lived in Kyrgyzstan. The average salary is 15,793 soms. As a result, in order to repay the state debt, every Kyrgyz citizen must give 3.04 of their salaries.
