The most troubled part of the state border of Kyrgyzstan is the Tajik one. The Chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Ularbek Sarsheyev told at a press conference.
According to him, since the beginning of 2018, at least 10 incidents have occurred on the state border (14 incidents in 2017).
There were 7 incidents on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section, and three — on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek one, and no incidents on the border with Kazakhstan and China.
«From January to September 2018, at least 622 meetings of border representatives have been held to resolve various issues and solve emerging problems,» Ularbek Sharsheyev told.
