Phytosanitary control point opened in Bishkek to check agricultural products

Phytosanitary control point has been opened on Dyikan market. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation reported.

The logistics center DordoiFood was founded in December 2017 on the basis of Dyikan market, from which products are delivered to Moscow, Novosibirsk, Almaty, Karaganda, Shymkent, Astana, Taraz and Turkestan.

At least 300 tons of products are exported daily — vegetables, dried fruits, fruit and berries.

For the convenience of farmers and sellers of agricultural products, the phytosanitary control point will carry out inspection, sampling, laboratory examination of quarantineable materials during export, import, as well as drawing up and issue of phytosanitary documents on Single Window principle.

The laboratory was built in accordance with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union. At least 3.2 million soms were spent on its reconstruction.
