The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree dismissing the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development, Lunara Mamytova. The government’s office informed 24.kg news agency.
Earlier, the official wrote a letter of resignation, noting that she was tired of harassment.
The Minister of Labor and Social Development Taalaigul Isakunova was also dismissed the day before. The corresponding decree was signed by the president of the country. She also submitted a letter of resignation.
The resignations followed a scandal, when it turned out that the officials had repeatedly arranged official missions abroad for themselves using diplomatic passports.
Recall, the Prosecutor General’s Office, having checked the overseas business trips of the leadership of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, confirmed that Taalaigul Isakunova, despite the government’s earlier refusal of a business trip to St. Petersburg, from November 16 to November 18, 2017 took part in the anniversary meeting of the Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population of the CIS Member States. She also visited the United States of America and Argentina without notice and permission from the Prime Minister.
