The President of Kyrgyzstan told about his vision of the reform of the educational system in Kyrgyzstan. Sooronbai Jeenbekov said this today at the opening of the 5th Congress of Teachers and Educators of CIS Countries.
The head of state set a task for the government to develop a new education strategy for Kyrgyzstan. It is necessary to reform schools in such a way in order they to become not only a place for the transfer of accumulated knowledge, but also a place where a child acquires the ability to get new knowledge at any time, in any place for the rest of his or her life.
«We must build a model of education that will lead to the development of the country. We need education that will allow us not only to know the world, but also to change our economy, our society, our life. I believe that we need to base education on the widespread and all-round use of digital technologies,» the president believes.
While preserving the priority of school education, we need to pay more attention to the early development and pre-school education of children.
