Citizens with secondary education more likely to become unemployed in Kyrgyzstan

At least 49.1 percent of the unemployed in Kyrgyzstan have secondary education. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.

It is noted that 48.7 percent of men and 49.5 percent of women who graduated from secondary school remain unemployed. But it is worth noting that 58.2 percent of people with complete secondary education remain unemployed in villages. As for cities and towns, people with higher education (35 percent) and full secondary education (34.1 percent) often cannot find a job.

The least of all unemployed are among those who have incomplete higher education or people with primary general education or no primary education at all — 2.4 percent.

According to the results of September, there are 68,500 unemployed in Kyrgyzstan that is 9.1 percent more than last year.
