Some sidewalks in Bishkek will be narrowed due to lack of land. The press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
Previously, residents of Repin Street complained that a sidewalk bumps into a fence of a private house.
The city authorities replied that no one had the right to demolish the fence, because the owner of this plot owns the land legally. «Moreover, he gave a part of his land for the construction of the road — a three-meter-wide strip along the entire border of the plot,» the city administration explained.
The sidewalk in this place will not be one and a half meters wide, like in other places, but narrower.
