Within the framework of a business program of the Eurasian Week Forum, representatives of business associations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and foreign business associations will discuss the prospects for forming a mega partnership in Eurasia. Organizers of the event reported.

According to their data, entrepreneurs of the EEU countries are interested in establishing direct contacts with the business of foreign countries, regional integration associations and international organizations. Representatives of the countries of Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America also show such interest. Strategic session «Eurasian Continental Partnership: Expanding Space for EEU business» will be devoted to this topic.

Market participants and experts see the formation of a new economic mega partnership in Eurasia — the Eurasian Continental Partnership — as one of the possible ways for a direct business dialogue.

The meeting participants will discuss its possible impact on the global economic system and the establishment of a balance in cooperation with the Western and Eastern partners of the EEU.

«The Eurasian Economic Union is actively engaged in international activities, gradually becoming stronger in the world arena. The achieved level allows the union to logically integrate into the economic architecture of the modern world. Our overall goal is to create the most comfortable, without artificial barriers, business conditions throughout the continent,» said Tatiana Valovaya, member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The Eurasian Week Forum is an annual event held by the EU and EEC countries. In 2018, the forum will be held at the end of October in Yerevan (Armenia) and will focus on the development of cooperative ties, economic, investment and export potential of the EEU.
