New public garden will appear in Bishkek on the site of the burnt down building of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The corresponding decision was made by the mayor of the capital, Aziz Surakmatov. The press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
The Department of Landscaping and Landscape Architecture of Bishkekglavarhitektura municipal enterprise has developed a design of the public garden.
«The area of the plot, intended for a recreation area, will be 0.41 hectares. The layout was made in conjunction with the central ensemble of the city square with the use of national coloring in modern interpretation,» the city administration noted.
The city administration notes that a composite method of organizing the environment is used during the reconstruction of the territory — the main element of the green areas is the linear system. The project proposes a parking lot in the underground part of the designed park.
Installation of a fountain is planned in the center of the garden.
The city administration noted that it was a preliminary project, which would be necessarily presented to the architectural community of the city council.
