Officers of the State Committee for National Security together with the police detained active members of the banned religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir. The press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
According to it, 44-year-old and 25-year-old citizens recruited people and called for creation of a caliphate.
«During sanctioned search in the houses of the detainees, a large amount of materials in electronic and printed form that contained the ideology of the banned religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir were found. A criminal case was initiated against the detainees under the article — acquisition, storage, distribution, transportation and transfer of extremist materials, as well as the intentional use of symbols or attributes of extremist or terrorist organizations of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic,» SCNS reported.
