A new system of additional payment for work of family doctors and family nurses in Kyrgyzstan has been introduced on October 1, 2018. The Information Policy Department of the Government’s Executive Office reported.
For the introduction of incentive payments, the level and procedure for calculation of the guaranteed part of the salaries of physicians are preserved without changes.
The new order of payments takes into account the individual results of work of family doctors and nurses. Depending on the contribution of a doctor to the provision of medical care to the population and the achievement of effectiveness according to the established criteria for assessing the work, additional salary will be paid.
«The Ministry of Health has determined the performance criteria. The salaries of doctors in general will double in case of maximum rates. Additional salary of medical workers, according to the new system, is not included in the guaranteed salary. It does not include the coefficient for work in the highland and remote areas of the country,» the report said.
At least 157.5 million soms were budgeted for the increase of salaries of doctors from October 1 to December 31, and from January 1, 2019 — 630 million soms annually.
