An average monthly salary of workers employed at enterprises with foreign investment is 2.2 times higher than the level of salaries in the country. Report of the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan says.
In 2017, an average salary at enterprises with foreign participation amounted to 33,820 soms.
The highest earnings have employees engaged in transportation and storage of goods (49,755 soms), information and communication (46,488 soms), in manufacturing (42,280 soms).
Specialists in the sphere of professional, scientific and technical activities get a little less (39,967 soms), as well as in supply with electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air (32,590 soms).
At the end of 2017, totally 1,159 enterprises belonged to foreigners. At the same time, most of the companies were opened by representatives of China, Turkey and Russia.
