Border service employees help criminals to send mercenaries to combat zones

A criminal group that was engaged in sending recruits to the war zone was detected in Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the preparation and holding of the 3rd World Nomad Games, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic suppressed an illegal channel for transfer of recruits from the Central Asian countries to the zones of armed conflicts.

It was found out that in Bishkek and Chui region citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with the assistance of employees of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic for a fee put stamps on the alleged crossing of the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic at border checkpoints for persons fleeing from justice.

Seven facts were detected and more than 10 similar facts are being checked.

So, on September 4, an employee of the State Border Service was detained by SCNS officers when placing a forged stamp on entry into the territory of Kyrgyzstan in the passport of a recruit of an international terrorist organization, a citizen of one of the neighboring states who illegally crossed the state border.

Several criminal cases have been initiated and are being investigated on the grounds of crimes.

Detained members of the criminal group were taken into custody.

Investigation is under way.
