President instructs Security Council to study statement of Kylychbek Sultan

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov instructed the secretariat of the Security Council to study the situation, voiced in the statements of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea Kylychbek Sultan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

The Security Council has to get an understanding of the violations voiced by Kylychbek Sultan. In addition, it will also study the arguments of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, based on which Erlan Abdyldaev recommends to dismiss the ambassador.

«The situation that arose after the statements of the Ambassador, and later the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, raises a number of questions not only in the diplomatic service, but also in the system of public service in general. The president demanded from the secretary of the Security Council to objectively examine each fact and argument with participation of representatives of relevant competent state bodies. The results of the check with conclusions and proposals will be presented to the head of state,» the message says.
