ISIL tries to create new support centers of caliphate in Central Asia

The international terrorist organization Islamic State, banned in Russia, is trying to create new support centers for a caliphate in Central Asian region and to activate already created sleeper cells. The head of the Anti-Terrorist Center Andrei Novikov said in Cholpon-Ata.

According to TASS, based on the results of the analysis of the current operational situation, it was decided: in developing the scenario line of joint exercises, to place a substantive emphasis on those core problems that, according to the assessment agreed with the partners, pose a real threat to the security of both the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Asian region as a whole.
