At least 280 foreign citizens have been deported from Kyrgyzstan during 8 months of 2018. Kursan Asanov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, said this at a meeting of the Parliament today.
According to him, they are mostly the citizens of China, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Georgia. In addition, 112 facts of organization of illegal migration have been registered so far, including criminal cases opened on 21 facts. Initiation of cases on 69 facts was denied.
At least 373 foreign citizens are serving their sentences in prisons of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, 1,033 Kyrgyzstanis are serving sentences in CIS countries.
