A new majority coalition was formed in the Bishkek City Council. The member of Respublika-Ata Jurt faction, Kanatbek Muzuraliyev, informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the alliance includes four factions: SDPK, Onuguu -Progress, Respublika-Ata Jurt and Mekenim Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan faction remained in opposition.
Recall, an extraordinary session of the City Council will be held tomorrow, on September 20. Deputies plan to announce creation of a new coalition and elect a speaker. Only Kyrgyzstan faction has put up a candidate for this post — Kubanychbek Kongantiev.
