The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Karim Kokrekbayev. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The sides discussed the prospects for Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation and the organization of the upcoming bilateral visits and meetings at the highest level.
During the meeting, the head of the diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan handed over a note in answer on the situation with the checks of citizens of Kyrgyzstan at the Almaty airport and said that the responsible heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Border Service of Kazakhstan had held a special meeting on this issue.
Earlier, Erlan Abdyldaev urged to draw attention to the inadmissibility of total checks of citizens of Kyrgyzstan at Kazakhstan’s airports by officials of the competent bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
