Police did not receive any statements after the fires in Arzu and Supara restaurants. The Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Internal Affairs Ministry, Nurlan Utemisov, told at a press conference.
According to him, issue of opening a criminal case on the fact is being considered.
«A special investigative group has been set up, which checks causes of fires in the cafes. The investigation is being carried out by the Interior Ministry Department for Chui region. The owners of restaurants did not apply to the police. The fires in Arzu and Supara restaurants broke out in the kitchen. According to preliminary data, the fire occurred because of short circuit,» said Nurlan Utemisov.
Recall, several major fires occurred in September in Bishkek. Restaurant Arzu burned down in Bishkek on September 1, and on September 18 — buildings under construction in the ethnographic complex Supara.
