Officers of the State Committee for National Security detained an investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The press center of the committee reported.
It is noted that on September 16, an investigator of Balykchi police department of Issyk-Kul region, senior police lieutenant, was detained in Bishkek during operational search activities within the framework of an initiated criminal case on the elements of crime under article 313 — extortion of a bribe. His name is not voiced in the interests of the investigation.
It was found out that the detainee extorted money from a citizen for making a positive procedural decision within an initiated criminal case. He was placed in the pretrial detention center of the SCNS.
The investigation is under way.
