4.2 magnitude earthquake registered in north of Kyrgyzstan

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred today at 4.57 in Kyrgyzstan. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported.

According to the center, the epicenter located 35 kilometers east of Bishkek and 15 kilometers east of Kant town.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the strength of the earthquake in Nurmanbet and Internatsionalnoye villages reached 3 points, in Yuryevka, Karagai-Bulak, Gornaya Mayevka, Kant town — 2.5 points, in Tokmak and Bishkek — 2 points.
