Border guards detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who tried to enter Uzbekistan with passport of another person, at Chechme-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint. The Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The Kyrgyzstani, 23, was heading for Sokh Uzbek enclave. When crossing the border, he presented a passport issued to another Kyrgyz citizen, born in 1997.
During the check, the border guards revealed a discrepancy between the photo in the passport and appearance of the man. The young man admitted that he used document of his relative.
The detainee was handed over to police officers.
