A mobile office will help in the fight against domestic violence in Bishkek. Lidiya Mukhamedshina, the head of the Health Care Administration of the capital informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the number of family violence cases has increased in the city.
«There is a scheme for prompt response to them. The mobile group includes social workers, psychologists and representatives of the district police departments. Previously, social workers had to use their vehicles, and such calls are received even at night. For the first time, we allocated funds for a car in the city budget,» Lidiya Mukhamedshina said.
«Transport will be handed over to the city’s Social Development Department. The mobile team will gather, leave for the place, if necessary — to conduct forensic medical examination, record beatings or go to the district police office, and then bring all workers home,» she added.
The car is planned to be received after September 20.
