Citizens of Kyrgyzstan will be able to stay in Tajikistan without registration for 60 days and travel to the neighboring republic with ID cards only. Representatives of the State Registration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported this today at the session of the Parliament.
The parliament deputies are discussing the ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the order of citizens’ stay on the territory of the two countries. It was signed on February 1, 2018 in Dushanbe.
Deputy Dastan Bekeshev asked when a similar agreement would be reached with Uzbekistan. The Foreign Affairs Minister Erlan Abdyldaev replied that the talks were being conducted and, taking into account the positive changes in the intergovernmental relations, the sides would reach a consensus on this issue in the near future.
