Kyrgyzstanis won 3 medals at international competition Kosmos Uphill, held in Kazakhstan. Organizers of the competition reported.
Athletes from Great Britain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France and South Africa competed for victory in several age groups. The program included a bicycle race and a race in the mountains. Cyclists have overcome about 20 kilometers, runners — about 12. The altitude gain on the distance was 1,700 meters.
Julia Fernas won the women’s race. Anna Ogloblina finished as the second. Igor Filin (all from Kyrgyzstan) took the second place at the bicycle race among men over 50.
