In September, the Ministry of Finance plans to issue government securities for 1,280 billion soms. The press service of the ministry reported.
It is noted that two issues of state treasury bills (STB) with a maturity of 12 months for 70 and 110 million soms were planned for September.
In addition, the ministry will issue government treasury bonds (T-bills) with a coupon rate of 7 and 6 percent and a maturity from two to five years. At least 700 million soms and 400 million soms will be received from their placement.
The government securities are a debt instrument. The Ministry of Finance reduces the budget deficit, but increases the domestic state debt due to their placement. As of June 30, 2018, it is 41,033.49 billion soms.
