Kyrgyzstan took the first place in the final medal standings of the 3rd World Nomad Games.
The competitions were held on September 2-8 in Issyk-Kul region. Art least 1,986 athletes from 74 countries and 12 territorial entities of the Russian Federation participated in the Games. They won 594 medals in 37 sports. About 32 countries won at least one medal.
Kyrgyz athletes won 40 gold, 32 silver and 31 bronze medals.
Kazakhstan took the second place in the medal standings (18 + 24 + 30), and Russia (17 + 12 + 27) — the third.
The top 10 includes Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Iran, Ukraine, Mongolia and Turkey.
Kyrgyzstan also confidently won at WNG 2014 and WNG 2016.
