Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 69.1-69.3 soms, and sell — for 69.55-69.7 soms. The American currency has grown by 70 tyiyns for 10 days.
Nominal rate of the National Bank is 69,1857 soms (0.3 percent growth per day).
The dollar in Kyrgyzstan began getting up in mid-August after another round of anti-Russian sanctions and approached 70 soms. This forced the National Bank to intervene for the first time in four months and sell dollars that lowered the exchange rate to 68.9 soms.
