Jeenbekov tells PM of Hungary about advantages of investments in Kyrgyzstan

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov told the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban about the advantages of foreign investments in Kyrgyzstan, customs and tax benefits for entrepreneurs during a bilateral meeting of the parties in Cholpon Ata. The press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted that the visit of the Hungary’s prime minister would strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and would give an additional impetus to bilateral cooperation. He wished Viktor Orban success in his state post, and the people of Hungary — prosperity and development.

Viktor Orban expressed gratitude for the invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan, the warm welcome and respect shown during his visit to Kyrgyzstan.

«This is the first visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Kyrgyzstan since the establishment of diplomatic relations. We will deepen bilateral friendly relations. We are looking for an opportunity for cooperation in the field of economy and culture. We will try to pay attention to all areas in which we have a potential for mutually beneficial cooperation,» said Viktor Orban.

He stressed that the people in Hungary know about Kyrgyzstan, they are familiar with the works of well-known Kyrgyz writers, their emotional and intellectual point of view coincides, and invited Sooronbai Jeenbekov to pay a visit to Hungary.

The parties decided to create a joint economic commission, deepen relations in trade, agriculture, water resources, ecology, pharmaceuticals, attracting investments, education and culture spheres.

Viktor Orban stressed that Eximbank of Hungary opened a credit line for Kyrgyzstan in the amount of $ 65 million in order to further develop bilateral relations.

The prime minister also noted that the country was ready to increase the scholarship quotas for Kyrgyz citizens when getting an education in Hungary. As of today, 25 students are studying there on a quota basis.
