Employees of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan suppressed an attempt to smuggle $ 5.3 million into Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan 24 TV channel reports.
The operational staff of the State Security Service Department for Andijan region detained three residents of one of the districts bordering Kyrgyzstan.
They tried to smuggle $ 5.3 million by a car into Kyrgyzstan.
A criminal case was opened. The detainees face up to eight years in prison for cash smuggling.
