Turkey to allocate money to Kyrgyzstan for military institute

Turkey will allocate money to Kyrgyzstan for construction of a new building of the military institute. This was stated at the meeting of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Raimberdi Duishenbiev with the Minister of National Defense of the Turkish Republic, Army General Hulusi Akar.

«Strong, friendly and fraternal relations have been established between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey based on common historical and cultural ties. The Republic of Turkey is a reliable and faithful partner of our country,» Major General Raiymberdi Duishenbiev said in his greeting.

The sides also discussed the issues of military cooperation and further prospects between the defense ministries of the two countries.

The Republic of Turkey rendered effective assistance to the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic in the form of automobile equipment, rear assets, communications, medical equipment and office appliances.

More than 100 officers and about 90 cadets from Kyrgyzstan have already been trained in the Turkish military educational institutions.

In addition, joint projects are being successfully implemented. The combine of consumer services is equipped with modern equipment and necessary materials for sewing military uniform with the support of Turkey and provides all the armed forces of Kyrgyzstan. It is planned to construct a new building of the military institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic with financial assistance from the Republic of Turkey.
