The baton of the World Nomad Games was handed over to Turkey. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced the day before at the solemn opening of the World Nomad Games 2018.
He expressed hope that the next event would be successful.
«The World Nomad Games took place three times in a row on the Kyrgyz land, on the shore of our sacred Issyk-Kul Lake. Now the mission of holding the World Nomad Games is being transferred to the Republic of Turkey. I wish respected Recep Tayyip Erdogan — the President of the Republic of Turkey, who takes the baton from us, the successful holding of the next Nomad Games,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
«The nomadic civilization is centuries old. We are passing the baton to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The head of state noted that the presence of high guests at the opening of the WNG showed their respect for the Kyrgyz people.
