The Directorate for the National Sports approved the prize fund of the World Nomad Games in the amount of 26,615 million soms. The press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported.
The program of the Games includes 37 sports. The prize fund for kok-boru tournament is 6 million soms, half of which will be presented to the team- winner. In addition, Great Kok-boru player and Great Kok-boru horse will be determined, who will receive 100,000 soms each.
Winners of wrestling competitions will receive 70,000 soms each. The athletes will compete for 1 million soms within the Great Struggle of the Nomads.
Participation in the WNG 2018 was confirmed by athletes from 44 countries.
A total of 594 medals will be awarded (174 gold, 173 silver and 247 bronze medals).
