The road to Kyrchyn gorge is 90 percent ready for the 3rd World Nomad Games. The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, the road to the gorge will be put into operation by August 1, 2018. Work on the installation of gravel cover on the road Semenovka — Ak-Suu — Grigoryevka — Kol-Kashka-Suu is underway now. The length of the route is 34 kilometers.
In addition, work to broaden the bridge at the 15th kilometer of Semenovka-Ak-Suu road has been carried out. At the same site, asbestos pipes for water drainage are installed in eight locations. The pipes were lengthened in 4 places.
«There is preparation of the site of 3.8 kilometers to the gravel cover on the bypass road of Cholpon-Ata town. Bridges are also being repaired in four places there,» the Ministry of Transport said.
