President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov got acquainted with the work of the logistics center in Chui region, which plans to enter the markets of the Eurasian Economic and the European Unions. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
The head of the enterprise Uran Niyazaliev informed that as of today, 65 persons were provided with work. The enterprise will closely cooperate with farmers and farms, providing them with seeds, animal feed, providing consulting services. As of today, 460 hectares of lentils have been sown and 300 — of chickpeas and beans. It is planned that the products will be sold in the domestic market, as well as in the countries of the EEU, China, and Afghanistan.
There is a process of developing the introduction of a food safety system now. It is planned to certify this process in the future, which makes it possible to bring products to the international market within the framework of the GSP +, to the EU countries.
The launch of the plant for the cultivation, calibration, sorting and packaging of legumes is expected in September 2018.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted that Kyrgyzstan could supply agricultural products to the large market of the EEU. The main task is to improve the infrastructure to the world standards, as well as the standards of the EEU countries.
«It is noteworthy that more and more such enterprises are being built in the regions that provide jobs for the local population, are engaged in the processing of agricultural products,» President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.
