Two million rubles extorted from Kyrgyzstani in Moscow

People who extorted two million rubles from a Kyrgyz citizen were detained In Moscow with the participation of employees of the representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia. The press service of the department reported.

A 26-year-old native of Nooken district of Jalal-Abad region turned to the police on July 16. He told that strangers robbed him and extorted a large sum of money.

«In early July in Moscow, unknown people took away the car from the victim, 10,000 rubles, his passport and the driver’s license. The extortionists demanded from him two million rubles for the return of the documents. During the investigative activities, persons involved in the crime were identified and detained. The documents and the car were confiscated. The necessary investigative and operational measures are being carried out,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed.
