Kyrgyzstan studies experience of Georgia in Safe City project

The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev got acquainted with the work of Safe City project in Tbilisi and decided to base on the experience of Georgia.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, told that Safe City project was implemented for prompt response to incidents, detection and suppression of administrative offenses, as well as for managing traffic flows. «Smart cameras» have been installed all around the city and connected to a single system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev, the issues of ensuring road safety, reduction of the number of traffic accidents and increase in the detection of crimes are the most urgent in Kyrgyzstan. Domestic specialists will study the Georgian experience in the implementation of Safe City project.

Recall, the Kyrgyz authorities intend to announce a tender until July 20 to select a contractor for the implementation of Safe City project.
