Shooting of a film, the name of which has not yet been approved, starts in Buryatia (Russia). There are three variants — «Shagai Naadan», «Time to Roll the Dice» or «Alchiki.» The movie will be about this game.
As the Russian media reported, a part of the film will be shot in Kyrgyzstan at the World Nomad Games.
The Estonian film producer Arthur Weber told reporters about the film.
«Our main character is kind and not very fit for life. This is a romantic sports comedy. We are now looking for partners and locations; we conduct casting in Buryatia. We represent Estonia and have partners from Finland, our partners from Poland have confirmed their participation,» he said.
Shooting is planned in Buryatia and Kyrgyzstan. The deadline for completion of the project is autumn 2019. The film will be released in Russia.
The 3rd World Nomad Games will start on September 2 on Issyk-Kul Lake shore, in Cholpon-Ata.
