The tender for the selection of a contractor for implementation of Safe City project will be announced by July 20, 2018. The Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications Bakyt Sharshembiev stated this at a meeting with the Prime Minister.
According to him, a feasibility study for the project has already been developed. It provides for equipping 38 intersections, 52 stationary posts with cameras for recording of violations, as well as provision with 32 mobile hardware and software systems. At the same time, the size of the collaterial for the implementation of the contract will be substantially increased.
In such a way the head of government proposed to exclude the possibility of participation of unscrupulous and financially insolvent companies.
"The collateral amount should be several million US dollars. We will be able to attract really respectable investors who have sufficient financial resources and experience to successfully implement the project," Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev believes.
In addition, the Prime Minister was informed about the implementation of Tunduk system of inter-agency electronic interaction.
