At least 14 Kyrgyz farms signed an agreement on the export of cherries to China. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation Zhanybek Kerimaliev told at a press conference.
According to him, farmers from Kadamdzhay district of Batken region and Aravan district of Osh region have already sent several batches to China in 2018.
«We also plan to increase the export of apples, apricots, prunes, strawberries and raspberries. Our fruits and berries can become a national brand,» the deputy minister said.
