Bishkek authorities are struggling with illegal buildings. The State Ecological Inspectorate informed 24.kg news agency.
According to Melis Adiev, the head of the department, there are 40 such objects in the capital today. «These are all permanent buildings. But there are also private buildings among them owners of which did not submit permits. We give a month in such cases. If we do not have documents, we will compulsorily demolish them,» Melis Adiev said.
He added that the number of illegal buildings was gradually reducing. There were 97 such objects two years ago.
