Kyrgyzstan introduces electronic crime registration book

A software has been developed in Kyrgyzstan to introduce an electronic crime registration book. This information was announced at a working meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Zhenish Razakov.

Representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office demonstrated a test version of the software «Electronic book of registration of crimes.» The state institution IT-service under the State Tax Service developed the program. The functionality of the system was demonstrated during a presentation.

It is expected that the e-book of registration of crimes will be introduced in all law enforcement agencies, as well as in the prosecutor’s offices and courts.

«The main feature of the system is the ability to track the status of an application by citizens in real time by scanning the QR code issued by the system. The electronic book is the first stage in the introduction of the Single Register of Crimes and Misdemeanors within the framework of the new Criminal Code and the Misdemeanor Code that will come into force on January 1, 2019. The Vice Prime Minister Zhenish Razakov instructed to launch the project in pilot mode in Bishkek in July, and also pointed out the need to coordinate the actions of the state bodies in this direction,» the press service of the Cabinet stressed.
